The NJF Intelligent Engineering Journal serves as the official journal of the Islamic University in Najaf, Iraq. Established in June 2023, it is abbreviated as NJF-IEJ. This multidisciplinary journal, operating on both national and international levels, is dedicated to the engineering field. NJF-IEJ publishes original, peer-reviewed articles encompassing recent and advanced research, ensuring high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based content, including artificial intelligence.

The journal features full-length articles, letters, and review articles, with English as the publication language. Released consistently on a biannual basis in June and December since 2023, NJF-IEJ follows an Open Access model under the CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0 Creative Commons license.

With an efficient editorial process, the average time from submission to the first decision is two weeks, and the time from submission to acceptance ranges from 4 to 6 weeks, contingent on the timely response of authors.
